Starting February 1st, 2003 Arbutus EMS will be participating in the BcoFD ATTEND/UN-ATTEND program.

So, what does this mean to the public ? 

First, it gives AVFD an incentive to make all attempts to be staffed 24X7X365. Second, it gives dispatch early notification if a station is not attended. This will allow them to dispatch the next closest unit when the station is not attended, providing the public with fast and effective Emergency care.
