Day-Time Paid positions

(for experienced professionals only)

Arbutus is looking for experienced Personnel for our day-shift. This is a position that requires daily coverage, 7 days a week from 0700-1700hrs. The position require you to be atleast an EMT, FF1 and Rescue Tech. You must have a clean driving record and have current HAZ-MAT course.

 The qualifications are listed below:

2) IVT/FF/FADO (closed)

3) Paramedic/FF/Medic Driver (closed)

4) Paramedic/FF/FADO (closed)

 

  • The selected candidate will start with a 90 day probationary period.

  • Automatic salary increases are based on # years of satisfactory service and will take effect beginning on the first Sunday of the employees anniversary date.

  • Additional raises could be recommended by the Captain and approved by our Board of Directors. These raises will be based on a satisfactory performance during the previous year and additional training and certifications acquired during that year.

Arbutus Volunteer Fire Dept is looking for talented personnel, interested in serving our community in the Fire, Rescue and EMS arena. No previous experience is necessary. Training is provided.  

 

We are also looking for personnel interested in serving in our Administrative positions. We want your help with various committees, our new Fund-Raising efforts, our Auxiliary and many other areas.
