The Family would like to invite friends and family for a small gathering
at the Arbutus VFD Fire Hall after the Ceremony.

The family greatly appreciates your prayers,
they have requested that everyone please refrain from calling or text
messaging, until after the funeral. While it is OK to bring your
Fire Apparatus for the Visitation, the family has kindly requested that
there be no apparatus for the Funeral. (except for AVFD Medic)

On
Friday June 20, 2008, JJ Lynott (1st Lt. Rescue), his wife
Susan, and the three children were enroute to Walt Disney World by
Vehicle. Sometime in Mid afternoon they were involved in a very serious
accident which resulted in their 14 month son Joshua receiving significant
Head Trauma. Despite the efforts of South Carolina Emergency Services
Personnel, and a fly out for Joshua to a trauma center, he succumbed to
his injuries.
We
are creating the Joshua Lynott Memorial fund at Arbutus VFD to assist the
Family with the costs of medical expenses that will not be covered by the
families insurance. If you would like to help, you may send your donation

have folks on the ground with JJ and Susan in South Carolina, and, as soon
