We
recommend that your print out and read through the entire
application form. There are some changes to the application
process from the previous years.
Fill out the
application and all the associated paper work and return it to
the AVFD. Page1of the application has a checklist that will help
you coordinate the items that are required to complete the
application package
It is highly recommended that you
visit our firehouse prior to submitting the application. This
visit will help you decide if your future goals match what we
offer at the AVFD.
After your
application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by a member
of our Board of Directors to appear for an
interview. This is a good time to ask specific questions
about our firehouse and our policies and procedures.
